O'Shea is my Step Brother’s Wife’s Sister’s Son. Get your head around that!
Basically, Hannah (O’Shea’s mum) saw my dads 70th birthday garden party video (see blog post here to watch for yourself) that I shared on Facebook a couple of weeks ago and then asked if I was free to film O’Shea’s Christening. Six degrees of separation in full force.
The service was at our picturesque local village church St John’s of Bishopsteignton and then onto The Old Workshop which is the tap house for Red Rock Brewery. It was a cold late April Sunday but the fires were on and the tap house was nice and cozy.
While the kids were burning energy off on the trampoline and chatting to the lambs and pigs, the adults were putting songs on the juke box and sinking the fabulous local brews.
I was mingling with with my camera, catching people unaware to get relaxed and realistic footage and below is the finished film I made for my step nephew in-law twice removed. My favourite bit is towards the end where O’Shea and his buddy are sat up at the bar, drinking their squash just like they will do in 16 years or so but probably swapped the squash for Red Rock beer.
