Wedding Film Questions and Answers

What videography equipment do you use?

I use professional mirrorless cameras and professional audio recorders. I take x3 cameras to each wedding and x7 individual audio recorders as well as directional mic’s attached to my cameras. So I have plenty of spares should there be any issues with equipment. I have tripods and monopods for stabilisation and a light on a stand I use for your first dance if the room is dark.

How long does it take to receive our wedding films?

The million dollar question. Creating amazing and bespoke wedding films is no quick task, it takes time and creative flow. I aim for 8-12 weeks but sometimes towards the end of a busy wedding season it can take longer. If this happens, I do check in regularly with my couples who have been waiting and they assure me that once they’ve received their films, it’s always well worth the wait!

We love your style, how do we book you before someone else does!?

Booking me is sooooooo simple. First we need to establish if I’m free and available to capture your wedding. If not, it’s not the end of the world, I can arrange another experienced wedding videographer to shoot your wedding and then for me to edit in my own indiviual creative and emotive style. We then book in a call/video chat to get to know each other and check that we’re a goof fit for each other. Then I build you a bespoke quote based on my wedding film price plus the additional upgrades you’d like to add in.

I have a subscription to a huge bank of licensed music to choose from. I usually pick the music I use myself because while at your wedding I’m already feeling a vibe and shooting a certain way to fit that style. So naturally the music genre and tempo is key to that too. My style of emotive films means I usually choose music that would complement and evoke the feelings of your day.

What music do you use for your wedding films?

I live in South Devon and so regularly shoot at the many beautiful wedding venues and private homes close by, but I do love to explore other places and I regularly travel across the borders into Cornwall and Somerset too. Of course I can travel anywhere in the UK and rest of the world for the right couple too.

Do you only provide wedding videography in Devon?

I hold your finished films forever. Well not quite, but I’ve never deleted any of my final edits of wedding films. I have every single wedding film I’ve ever made backed up on hard drives and also online. You will have access to your private online gallery forever too, I do not remove or erase galleries, ever.

How long do you hold the RAW footage and finished wedding films for?

Do you have insurance?

Yes, I have public liability insurance and drone insurance.
