A micro wedding describes a ceremony with up to around 10 guests, although some people will say it’s up to 25 guests. The point is that only your very closest family and friends will be in attendance as you exchange your vows.

why choose a micro wedding?

Traditional weddings are not for everyone. Part of that is the possibility that the bride and groom will spend most of the day talking to guests or worrying about all the details being right, rather than spending time with each other. There’s nothing wrong with traditional weddings but they require a lot more planning, and a lot more money!

With a micro wedding it’s a lot easier to find a venue to cater for such a small number of people and the bride and groom can focus on each other knowing that their very closest friends and family are there to share the day with them. At a micro wedding you won’t feel under pressure to invite your parents friends or your third cousin twice removed! You can make your wedding day very unique when there’s fewer guests, why not have a posh picnic in your favourite place after the vows?
