Hey, I'm Sally; snowboarding, sea swimming, live music and festival, poker (always Texas Hold’em) sunsets, cat, landscape and skyline lover. I love watching films, music videos and binge watching stylistic TV shows. I also LOVE cooking and hosting, I love inviting my favourite people over for food, indoor and out, and it’s my dream to one day have an outdoor kitchen.

I grew up and still live in the heart of Devon. I’ve filmed weddings at many of the stunning venues around my local area. I know Cornwall and Somerset well too and am happy to hear from couples getting married anywhere in the South West of the UK and beyond. So long as there’s somewhere to stay nearby, I can travel anywhere! Even a field, I can stop over in my converted van and join you the next day for coffee and croissants.

Why Did I Become a Wedding Videographer?

From the day my 12 year old self went to my first wedding and started snapping away on my disposable camera I fell in love with weddings. Every time I film a wedding, I can never quite believe that I am lucky enough to do it for a living. I’m lucky to say that I have the best job in the whole wide world. Weddings are a rollercoaster of all of the emotions, nerves, anticipation, love, laughter and all the happies and I adore being able to capture and create memories for my couples.

Documentary Wedding Films

I specialise in unobtrusive documentary style wedding videography and can create a wedding film that you will watch back in years to come and not feel like you were staged or behaving in an awkward way. I aim to blend into the background and not be imposing. I will not overly direct you because I want to capture natural unforced footage; I want you to pretend I'm not there and carry on as normal just being you. Your wedding day will go so fast and having me there to document the whole day, fun times with your friends and family, the venue and all the details you’ve planned so meticulously, means that you will not miss a thing.

Female Wedding Videographer

As a female videographer I am discreet and respectful during private moments and of course I’ll get excited when I see you for the first time in your dress. I want to get to know you and your closest people so that on the day you feel relaxed around me and not under pressure to perform to the camera.

I’m an emotional being and nothing gives me more pleasure than witnessing two people so deliriously happy and in love on their wedding day. I find myself immersed in the most moving day with, let’s be honest, strangers. But even though I barely know my couple and their guests, I still get teary eyed during the speeches, I still get excited when I see the bride for the first time and I still wish I could get on the floor at the end of the first dance (if only I wasn’t too busy filming it!).

Drone Shots

I have a drone (the DJI Mavick 2 Pro for you gear heads) so if you’re getting married in a stunning country estate or on the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea, I can capture epic aerial shots too. I don’t charge extra for drone, if I can fly it, I will!
